Anything can be posted instantly on a blog.
When people surf the net and find something interesting, they feel like leaving a comment for others to read, and start or continue a thread of communication.
Blogs are a novel way to know what others think of a particular subject and also to assess thought patterns and trends.
Individuals can, even if they do not have sufficient technical skills, start their own blog where they can publish their comments, add favorite links to be shared, and convert it into a daily journal of thoughts and ideas and at the same time make it all publicly available to the whole world.
